In a diplomatic career spanning about three decades, H. E. Sunjay Sudhir has represented the Indian Government in a wide variety of roles and serves as the present Ambassador of India to UAE. He served as High Commissioner of India to the Maldives from 2019 to 2021, head of the International Cooperation Division at the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas from 2015 to 2019, the Consul General of India in Sydney, 2014-2015 and, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of India to the World Trade Organization, 2007-2011, where he dealt with IPRs, RTAs and Trade and Development. He has also served in various capacities at the Indian High Commission, Colombo, Indian Embassy, at Damascus and in Cairo.
In the field of Energy, he has been Director on the Boards of ONGC Videsh Ltd., Oil India Ltd., and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd. He is currently an Associate Editor on the Editorial Board of OPEC Energy Review.
H. E. Sunjay Sudhir holds a degree in Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology – New Delhi and has pursued Diplomatic Studies at Oxford University (UK). In International Trade, he has studied TRIPS Agreement and Public Health, WTO Law and Jurisprudence, and WTO Dispute Settlement.

Dr. Aman Puri assumed charge as Consul General of India, Dubai in July 2020.
His overseas assignments include serving as the Consul General of India, Birmingham (U.K), and at the Indian Mission to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg. At the headquarters, previously, he has held the office of Deputy Chief of the Protocol which involved handling the foreign visits of the Prime Minister of India & similar incoming visits and as Regional Passport Officer, New Delhi.
Dr. Puri, did his schooling from St. John's High School, Chandigarh, and qualified as a Dentist before joining the Indian Foreign Service.

Dr. Ahmed AlBanna is a prominent Economic Consultant and a visionary entrepreneur. He is CEO, DUBARCH, a multidisciplinary engineering and interior design firm with a global presence, Chairman of Technosteel and former UAE Ambassador to India.
He served as the Director of the African Affairs department in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs looking after bilateral relations between the UAE and the different African countries. He also served as a Director of the Department of Economic Affairs in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to his diplomatic engagements, he has held several positions in the field of economic, trade promotion & negotiations, quality and business excellence.
Dr. Ahmed AlBanna served as the Deputy Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In addition, he served as Advisor to ‘Dubai EXPO 2020’, Chairman of Dubai Quality Group and a Member of the Dubai Rent Committee.
H. E. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, PhD.
Ambassador of UAE to India
His Excellency Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali is the current Ambassador of UAE to India. Prior to this, he served as the Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs (ETA).
In his previous capacity, he was responsible for facilitating the implementation of the country's economic policy towards other countries, promoting the country's economic, trade and financial interests, ensuring the provision of all necessary support to facilitate foreign investments growth and ensuring that such investments are in line with the country's bilateral and multilateral relations policy. Prior to that, he served as the Director of the ETA Department and the Director of Policy Planning Department (PPD). His role included the continuous and periodic review of the UAE’s foreign policy as well as the drafting of policy papers. He joined the Ministry as an Economist in the Office of the Foreign Minister, before being appointed as the Head of Research and Content Management.
He is currently a Board Member of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and on the Board of Trustees at the Zayed University (ZU) Council. He has also formerly served on the board of the National Media Council. Recently, H. E. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali assumed an adjunct faculty role at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), where he teaches ‘The Geopolitics of Food Security’ at the Master's level.
Throughout his professional career, he has been the recipient of several awards, including the Foreign Minister’s Medal for the Distinguished Director, the Foreign Minister’s Award for the Distinguished Employee, and the Knowledge Day Award by the Crown Prince of Ajman.
