IBPC plays the important role of a trusted facilitator in the growth of the strategic economic relationship, trade and investment flows between India and the United Arab Emirates.
The organization acts as the intermediary for UAE nationals to understand how to approach the business community and set up business in India conversely for Indian businesses. that want to have a footprint in UAE. It strives to do so through its vast network of businessmen, professionals, in both regions but also through strong relationships with governments and industry bodies of both countries.
IBPC Dubai is the oldest and largest association of Indian businessmen and professionals since 2003. It provides opportunities for Indian businessmen to interact and network with fellow Indian businessmen in a congenial environment.
IBPC conducts seminars and panel discussions on current topics that keep members informed. It also organizes cultural events on important festivals and national celebrations.
3 independent bodies, i.e., Overseas Indians Economic Forum, Indian Business Council & Business and Professional were consolidated and merged to form IBPC, under the aegis of Dubai Chamber of Industry.
Mr. Suresh Kumar was appointed as Chairman of IBPC Dubai along with 6 other governors.
IBPC Dubai was named as the winner of the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award in the ‘Representative Entities’ category, instituted in partnership with the Future Economy department in Dubai Economy, to enhance relations with business community groups.
IBPCs governance and operating formats were revised by Dubai Chambers to introduce an independent Board of Governors and executive committee with elected members.
Focus Groups and Forums were established.

For over two decades, IBPC has been playing a very vital role in supporting the Indian business community in Dubai. Apart from being the platform for business and professional interactions, it is also a venue for camaraderie between the Emirati and Indian business communities. IBPC is also proudly at the forefront of business and professional activities of the Indian community in UAE, while connecting the businessmen here to their counterparts in India.
Through providing a venue for interaction with the visiting central and state ministers and officials, IBPC is actively supporting bilateral business relationship between India and UAE as was evident during the recently concluded Dubai EXPO2020.
IBPC is also a hub for information and resources sharing for the businessmen and professionals. This will help those who are new, starting their businesses here or are relocating to Dubai as professionals.
